Terms and Condition:

This quote is just an estimate and provided for your convenience only. We give you a database average for generally similar moves. It is best to consider this a thinking tool. However, your final quote is based on hourly rate and actual time your move will take. Additional time may be required if your move involves long walks from your apartment to the truck, narrow hallways and/or tight staircases, disassembling and reassembling of furniture, hoisting, moving of oversized, antique items, ones with glass and/or marble, appliances move and items over 300lb. It is important to understand that the time of the move will also depend on how well you are packed and organized: all drawers of all the furniture must be emptied, and all miscellaneous items packed neatly into moving boxes of correct sizes. In general, Fast Quality Moving expects everything that can be boxed, should be boxed. Carrier cannot take loose items.

The total cost is based on an hourly rate only. Should there be any other services requested, additional costs will be charged. Our minimum is 3 hours that include travel time.
The travel time is for us to get to your first location and back from your last location to our office.

You will be charged the actual time for your move after the minimum time frame unless otherwise indicated prior to start of service. The time for your hourly rate commences when the crew gets and starts at your current home. The labor time ends when they finish unloading and setting up at your destination. The travel time charge is applicable in all local hourly rated jobs.

Packing services/materials such as tape, bubble wrap, boxes, shrink wrap etc... are NOT included in the price but always available to be purchased right off the truck.

This estimate is based on the information you provide, and on the assumption that your house or business is packed and ready to move upon arrival, unless packing services are noted above. Estimates are given to inform you of approximate costs and allow us to schedule movers appropriately. Actual charges reflect the time spent on your move, plus boxes, packing supplies, travel time, fuel, and any other extra charges as noted on your estimate. In addition, all moves have a 6.25% surcharge which covers the consumables that are not charged individually, for example moving blankets, rubber bands, TOOLS & DISASSEMBLE AND REASSEMBLE & taxes.. etc.


Billing begins when the movers arrive to your location and ends when they finish the move, plus the travel time which is the time to get to and from your locations. The estimate above reflects the minimum valuation of .60 per item per pound included. Additional valuation options are available upon request. All jobs require a $100.00 deposit OR DEPENDING ON THE AMOUNT OF YOUR MOVING ESTIMATE upon reserving your date.

Deposit is non-refundable if cancelled or postponed within 7 business days\168-hours in advance prior the move date. Deposit will be applied directly to your moving bill.

THIS QUOTE INCLUDES THE FALLOWING:Professional Door-to-Door service based on the hourly rate listed on your contract. Expert advice and guidance throughout the course of your move.Disassembly of all standard furniture required for safe movement at the origin.

Reassembly for all items disassembled by the movers on the day of pick-up at destination.

Wrapping of all furniture with quilted moving blankets, boxes are not included unless listed. Itemized inventory indicating condition at origin of items.

- Fast Quality Moving does not provide insurance to the customer. In the event of an accident, carrier liability is limited to the shipper declaration of value of shipment on the bill of lading. Shippers must secure their own insurance.

If any items are damaged by the movers, you must notify FAST QUALITY MOVING INC within TWO days of the move so we can file a claim with the insurance company. If FAST QUALITY MOVING INC is not notified within the TWO days we will no longer be responsible for the damages.

**Fast Quality Moving is only responsible for items in our immediate care, custody and control. Therefore, we are not responsible for damage to items coming out of storage, items from your truck, or items you packed into boxes yourself. You will be asked to sign a Release of Liability acknowledging this.
We would like to remind you that we are NOT responsible for any pressed wood furniture or pressed wood, hardwood or vinyl floors.

All fragile and breakable items need to be wrapped unless a full packing service has been purchased. All customers MUST properly pack any breakable items such as glass, mirrors, lamps, pianos or electrical devices before we get to your home, or an additional charge for wrapping will be required. Additional charges such as waiting time, re-delivery or storage fee will be added to your bill if you are unable to accept your shipment at the destination.
Extra Charges:However, if you need any items hoisted from a window or porch the price is $125.00 for the first piece and $30.00 per flight for the second additional piece.(Some items may be required to come through a window because they are too large to put through a staircase. Please note that it is a good idea to notify the carrier of this requirement prior to commencement of a move. Please note that the carrier may make last minute accommodations if we encounter this requirement during a move, at full expense and liability to the customer.


Please note that there is a natural risk of damage to real property, or the item being hoisted, and the client is solely liable for this risk. Hoists require special equipment and 3 movers minimum to service.)The following charges shall be assessed for overweight items in addition to the hourly rates quoted above in this tariff, in connection with a move involving additional items:Pianos - $150 depending on the type of piano.

Hot Tubs - $100 - $200
Riding Lawn Mowers - $120
Gun Cabinet - $$180 - $250
Pool table -$200 - $250
Safe over 350 pounds Storage:
You can get a quote from your sales associate.  If you need overnight hold on the truck, we charge up to $150.00 per night.


PLEASE NOTE: THE OVER NIGHT FEE MAY VARY DEPENDING ON THE DATE AND SIDE OF TRUCK.depending on the size of the move. We charge by the hourly rate for the time to unload at storage and reload when you are ready for delivery.

PLEASE NOTE: THAT FOR ALL OUT OF STATE MOVES WE HAVE A MINIMUM OF CF WHICH IS 300CF.


Waiting Time:The customer is charged the rates specified above for all waiting time or delays which are not the fault of - Fast Quality Moving.
Fast Quality Moving is not responsible for any additional costs associated with packing and moving beyond the original estimate. The customer pays actual time.
PAYMENTS FORM~Payment in full is expected at the completion of the move. Forms of payment accepted are cash, ZELLE, VENMO, CASHAPP, credit or debit card. Credit or debit cards incur a 5% fee. Only cashier’s checks are accepted. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED. FEEL FREE TO ASK YOUR SELLER TO SEE IF WE CAN ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS FOR YOU.


Parking

Any associated parking permits are the responsibility of the client. If no permit is obtained, the client takes the responsibility of paying any parking tickets.

Deposit Requirement

Due to the limited nature of the services Fast Quality Moving required a deposit in the amount of 1 hour of the regular moving rate to hold and secure a specific move date, moving crews and other resources. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable, however it will be applied to the final cost of the move.

Cancellation of Services

Please note that in the event of a cancellation, Fast Quality Moving is entitled to the initial deposit placed by the customer. A written notification at least 7 business days prior the move, 168\hours in advance that includes the customer's name, address, and scheduled move date and the deposit will be refunded. CUSTOMERS WHO CONFIRM OUR SERVICES WITHIN THE NEXT THREE DAYS OF THEIR CURRENT DATE, DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A REFUND IF THEY CANCEL THEIR MOVE. ALSO, IN THE EVENT OF A CANCELLATION AFTER AUGUST 15TH UNTIL SEPT 15TH... FAST QUALITY MOVING DOES NOT GIVE THE OPTION TO RETURN THE DEPOSIT DUE TO THE PEAK SEASON.
Fast Quality Moving is forced to collect a fee of the full deposit or a fee of $50 depending on the inconvenience for a late reschedule notice or for any CANCELLATION of any move.
